A three car accident at the intersection of Route 60 and Route 83 in the Town of Pomfret Monday morning sent two people to the hospital.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, Samantha Klein, 18, hit a stopped car. Deputies say David McQuay, 55, was stopped waiting to make a left turn.
The impact caused McQuay's car to spin into the opposite lane, hitting another car driven by Pamela Johnson, 64, according to officials.
Deputies say Klein and a passenger in McQuay's car were taken to Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk for minor injuries.
The Sheriff's Office says Klein was given a ticket for following too closely.
