A Jamestown woman is charged with welfare fraud after unlawfully collecting over $1,300 in food stamps.
Amanda Garcia Birt, 26, allegedly did not report employment income to Social Services. This unreported income resulted in $1357 of food stamps she was not supposed to receive.
Garcia Birt is charged with grand larceny and misuse of food stamps.
She was issued an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
