A 40-year-old woman was killed in a crash Tuesday in Genesee County that State Police say was unrelated to the weather.
Around 6 a.m., troopers say Nituna Stafford of Basom failed to stop at the end of Meadville Road and crashed through concrete barriers. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in her vehicle, 26-year-old Eli Smoke of Alabama, was taken to the hospital with leg and chest pain.
The accident remains under investigation.
