Buffalo police made an arrest in a deadly pedestrian crash that happened back in April.

Police arrested and charged 37-year old Cuansharee Palmer with multiple charges including criminally negligent homicide, endangering the welfare of a minor, and felony dwi.

Investigators say she struck and killed her ex-husband, 39-year old Donell Sharp with her car, while their two young children were inside the car with her.

Palmer's attorney, Anthony Pendergrass said she spent six hours with the victim before his death, she cared about the victim, and this was just an accident.

"It's hard for me to conceive that she would drive the victim from where ever they where to home. Then get the victim at home and do something purposely to him," Pendergrass said.

"She ran him over and dragged his body three or four houses down," Sharp's sister Marquita said Thursday. "But I believe this was done intentionally. I know this wasn't an accident."

Sharp's family was in court on Thursday. They didn't want to talk. Sharp would have turned 40 on Tuesday.
A judge set Palmer's bond at $30,000. She's scheduled back in court on July 25th.
