With snow in the forecast here in Western New York, the race is on for people to get their snow tires on.
Local tire shops, like Dunn Tire in Clarence are working overtime to accommodate all the customers.
"Every year it's very similar, people like to wait until the last minute," said Kevin Dean
Managers at Dunn Tire says the phones have been ringing off the hook. People, like John Kennedy are rushing in to change tires before the flakes hit the ground.
"I've got a SUV and I want to get studded snow tires," he said. "I want to make sure I'm safe with the wife and kids."
Experts say the best thing you can do is get snow tires, with the changing, unpredictable weather here in Western New York.
