WNY rescue group hoping to help puppies found in the street

Posted

An East Amherst dog rescue group is raising money to go to Texas and bring three puppies back to Western New York.  The puppies were found running around a busy intersection, and brought to an animal shelter by a Good Samaritan.

One of the puppies passed away, and the other three have been fighting for their lives.  Once they're healthy enough to travel, the East Amherst rescue group "Buffalo Underdogs Rescue" is hoping to have two board members fly down and drive the puppies back up.  The  dogs will then be raised by WNY foster families.

The group uses donations and its own money to make trips to pick up puppies and dogs in need of care.  If you'd like to donate to their campaign, you can click here
