CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A new outdoor soccer facility in the Northtowns is now set to open, welcoming new programs for youth players.

The Empire United Soccer Academy is cutting the ribbon on the KenDev Realty Facility, just off Main Street in the City of Tonawanda. It's at the site of the old Clint Small Stadium, which used to be home to the Tonawanda Warriors.

It'll feature three differently-sized fields for 11-player, 9-player and 7-player teams, locker rooms and bathroom facilities.

The new facility will provide special training and teams for kids ages three through 19.

Empire United SA will cut the ribbon at 5:45 Tuesday evening.
