NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Developers are taking ideas for the redevelopment of downtown Niagara Falls.

The USA Niagara Development Corporation hosted a drop-in session to get input from the public.

The group recently acquired seven buildings and more than eight acres of vacant land.

Now, it's asking residents to share their thoughts on the best ways to bring new life to the city.

"Niagara Falls isn't as bad a city as people seem to think," said Niagara Falls resident Anthony Carter. "I think there's a lot of potential here, and I love that people are finally being able to discover that."

Developers are now asking neighbors to take an online survey.

You can find the survey here.
