HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — During a meeting Wednesday night, Chick-Fil-A proposed building a 5,000 square foot drive-thru restaurant on McKinley Parkway in Hamburg.

The proposed restaurant would include outdoor seating and a dual drive-thru at 3464 McKinley Parkway, between I-90 and the McKinley Mall, near the Raymour and Flanigan Outlet store.

If approved, this would be the third Chick-Fil-A in Western New York, with the others in Cheektowaga and Depew. The opening would be tentatively set for Fall 2022.

The preliminary plan was presented during a planning board meeting for the Town of Hamburg. Representatives will return with a site plan in March.

Members of the board also raised concerns over traffic in the area near Milestrip Road and McKinley Parkway.
