LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The old Bethlehem Steel site in Lackawanna is getting new life.

TMP technologies has purchased 28 acres of land from Erie County’s Industrial Land Development Corp. to expand its company by building a 290,000 sq. ft. facility on the land.

The land was bought for $1.05 million.

This is part of the ILDC’s plan to build an industrial business park on the old Bethlehem Steel site after using county and state money to buy 150 acres of land with plans to go in for another 100 acres in the near future.
