WKBW has won a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting. The award was given for our I-Team coverage in the NCCC scandals, which led to the school's president resigning in April of 2017.
The station was recognized for our coverage in the Small Market Television Division over other stations throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The Radio Television Digital News Association has been honoring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of electronic journalism.
