The Queen City claimed its crown in the Make-a-Wish Holiday Wish Battle!
Make-a-Wish Western New York hosted a competition between 7 Eyewitness News reporter Thuy Lan Nguyen and a reporter from Rochester's 13WHAM. In the one-month competition, reporters worked with local businesses and Wish Children to see who could raise more money for the non-profit organization.
Together, WKBW and 13WHAM raised more than $22,000 dollars. Buffalo raised a little more than $13,000 of that total.
Thuy Lan partnered with Marco's Italian Restaurant and the Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Department to raiseseveral thousand dollars.
