Winds have caused power outages for thousands of New York State Electric and Gas customers in Erie County Sunday.
NYSEG reports a total of 6,185 out of 150,614 customers are without power as of 12:40 Sunday afternoon.
There is currently no estimated time of restoration for customers without power.
The following is a breakdown of the number of customers without power by municipality and township:
- Town of Boston: 554
- Town of Hamburg: 4,657
- Village of Hamburg: 350
- Town of Orchard Park: 624
