A Williamsville man will spend five years behind bars after being sentenced for possessing child pornography.
Troy Malecki, 49, was part of an online community dedicated to the exchange and discussion of child pornography.
In September 2015, F.B.I. agents executed a search warrant at his residence and seized his cellular telephone.
Forensic examination of Malecki’s phone revealed that he was in possession of more than 850 images of child pornography -- some of which depicted prepubescent children less than 12 years of age, and some of which depicted violence.
