A GoFundMe page has been setup for information leading to the arrest of 29-year-old Kamil Patel's killer.
According to the ABC Affiliate in Miami, Patel was shot and killed outside a Miami Beach karaoke bar on Thursday.
Patel was a 2006 Williamsville East High School graduate. He had recently moved to Florida from Texas.
Patel and his girlfriend were reportedly walking in an alley behind the bar when a gunman opened fire. The woman was not hurt.
Patel was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Miami Beach Police say the gunman left the scene in a white car with a temporary tag, possibly read CC34319.
Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the shooting.
Patel's friend Katy Parks has started this GoFundMe page to add to the $5,000. The goal is $20,000 and it has already reached well over $15,000
