A Williamsville man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
Acting U.S. Attorney James Kennedy, Jr. announced today Troy Malecki, 48, had images depicting minors younger than 12 years-old.
Federal prosecutors said Malecki was part of an online community dedicated to the dissemination and discussion of child pornography. Agents from the F.B.I., Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force searched the defendant’s home, seizing his cell phone. The phone contained 890 images of child pornography.
Malecki is facing up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. He's scheduled to be sentenced on May 17.
