Whether they're covered in fur or feathers, apparently the Queen City isn't the best city for your pets.
According to a study by WalletHub, Buffalo is the second least pet-friendly city of the 100 most populated in the country. The study examined pet budgets, pet health and wellness and outdoor pet-friendliness. It weighs things like the number of veterinarians per capita, vet care costs, weather and the number of dog parks per capita.
Buffalo's weather is a contributing factor to its low ranking.
Buffalo rounds out the bottom of the list with Fort Wayne, Indiana at 98 and Honolulu, Hawaii as 100 on the list. The most pet-friendly cities are Scottsdale, Arizona, Orlando, Florida and San Diego, California.
