Smartphones have ony recently become the norm, but they seem to have taken control of the phone-using world. This trend is seeping into the younger generation, and kids and teens are asking for smartphones at younger ages.
Enter Wait Until 8th. The movement is giving parents support to refrain from getting their kids their first smartphone until 8th grade.
The movement's website cites numerous health concerns that come with early-age cellphone addiction, and worried parents behind Wait Until 8th want to make sure kids can just be kids.
