Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - Buffalo's highly successful Reddy bikeshare program is back!
This week, representatives are installing 200 Reddy racks in 35 locations around the city of Buffalo including: Bidwell Parkway, Buffalo State College, Canisius College, Canalside, City Hall, and the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
The Reddy bikeshare program makes bicycles easily available to individuals for shared use on a short-term basis, allowing users to pick up a bike from one of the stations and return it to any other designated location.
The bikes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the season.
Reddy bikeshare boasted a successful first season and is looking to increase membership and ridership this year through visitors and tourists to the city, along with Buffalo area residents and downtown employees. Annual and monthly memberships will be available for purchase starting April 3. In honor of the season two kick-off, Reddy bikeshare is offering 50% off of all annual memberships purchased in the month of April.
