The West Seneca High School Bands recently has the opportunity to rub shoulders with a widely celebrated composer and arranger.

The bands spent two days working with Dr. Ward Miller who currently serves as the arranger and associate director of the Macy's Great American Marching Band in New York City.

Dr. Miller worked with band members during several clinics and rehearsals. He also composed a combined piece for the West Middle and West Senior Bands entitled "West Seneca Rush!".

"West Seneca Rush!" is the first commissioned work written for a West Seneca Band.
