Wegmans warns about fraudulent Facebook post

Wegmans is warning customers about a fraudulent post on Facebook that uses the company's name.

The fraudulent post shows a Wegmans storefront and claims the company is giving away a coupon for $200 in groceries. The grocery chain it is not affiliated with the post nor is it supported by the company.

Wegmans became aware of the post after it was noticed by an employee. A spokesman says the company is actively working to have it removed from Facebook, but in the meantime, "We urge consumers not to click it, share it, or provide any personal information.”
