Beginning next year Wegmans says it will no longer sell any products containing microbeads.
Erie County has already banned the products and the federal government is about to do the same.
Microbeads are found in soaps and body washes. The tiny beads don't decompose and end up in the local water system causing problems for the environment and wildlife.
