Four prominent local developers, along with hundreds of eager western new yorkers gathered in the Mary Seaton Room and Kleinhans Music Hall Thursday evening, for some long awaited unveilings.
The reuse of the soon to be vacant Women and Children's Hospital took center stage. The 617,000 square foot facility, situated between Bryant and Hodge will be a hot commodity come 2017, and residents want to ensure future plans fit the fabric of the Elmwood Village.

- Multi-use facilities
- 65% residential, 50 townhomes, 300 market-rate apartments, 50 upscale condominiums

"Elmwood Centre"/Ellicott Development Company
- Would retrofit 650,000 SF of space instead of large scale demolition
- Middle market & high-end apartments
- Boutique hotel
- Restaurant/banquet facility
- Possible amenities: Day Care, Elementary charter school, grocery store, performing arts center
"Bryant Park"/Uniland Development Company
- 75,000 SF park at Bryant & Hodge
- Property to be divided into four buildings
- 1 Bryant Park: Turn Variety Tower Tanner and Alfiero buildings into one building that would host up to 149 apartments, commercial office space & ground floor retail, Rooftop garden for tenant use
- 2 Bryant Park: condominiums
- 3 & 4 Bryant Park: residential & commercial space, boutique hotel or educational space

- Residential (Bryant & Hodge Streets and Elmwood Ave): 392,000 sq. ft.; 249 apartment & townhouse units
