This ski season began promising for Kissing Bridge.
"The beginning of this season just made it look like this would be our year" Dennis Donnelly of Kissing Bridge said.
Recently, however, temperatures in the 50's has meant the snow is melting.
"It's a hard hit when all the money you see grooming and making the snow ... kind of heading down the creek" Donnelly said.
Slushy conditions caused by warmer temperatures and rain, similar to the conditions on Friday, have been fairly common for the last few years.
"It's been tougher the last two or three years counting this year."
It could be discouraging for Kissing Bridge, but the resort wants to think positive. They still have a decent amount of snow and customers still hitting the slopes.
"Considering what we have to deal with I think they (customers) are pretty surprised we have as much snow as we do" Donnelly said.
