The Walden Galleria is set to hold a Security Lockdown Drill Tuesday morning.
The drill is set to begin at 10:15am and is a precautionary measure to make sure employees are properly trained in case of an emergency.
"Walden Galleria and Cheektowaga Police Department actively meet to ensure that all parties are properly prepared should an emergency present itself," explained Marissa Romano, marketing director for Walden Galleria. "While these drills are not new, it is highly important that we run them frequently to ensure employees are familiar with procedures."
The drill will be held during open mall hours to emulate a realistic situation for mall employees, security and Cheektowaga Police.
