After 50 years of serving up snacks to customers, Vidler's 5 & 10 popular popcorn machine is heading off for repair.

Don Vidler says the machine is in need of "major repair work beyond the duct tape, spit and glue maintenance skills of Cliff and Don." Vidler says he's not sure how soon it will be back, but the mechanical horse is still running.

Vidler says they will alert everyone when they know the status of the popcorn machine, because "a lack of $0.10 bags of popcorn has been known to cause near riots in East Aurora."
