A video posted by Dan Kollander to YouTube shows just how quickly the six feet of snow that fell on parts of Western New York disappeared following the Snowvember storms.

The video was shot at Kollander's South Cheektowaga home.

The historic storms paralyzed parts of Western New York, kept some students home for months, and produced stories of tragedy and triumph. For full coverage, including other videos, photo galleries and more, check out our special section.

County Executive Mark Poloncarz says Erie County had 21,832 hours of overtime logged during the storm, at a cost of $783,000. The Department of Public Works had the most overtime with 8,183 hours.

Poloncarz says the storm cost the county more than $7 million.
