Victim in wheelchair in critical condition after hit & run

Town of Tonawanda Police are looking for the motorist who hit and critically injured a person in a motorized wheelchair.

Police say the car hit the victim on Vulcan Street near the intersection of Rosedale Street, right near the GM Powertrain Plant, then drove away. It happened Friday evening just before 6 p.m.

The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center with a possible head and chest injury and is in critical condition.
