As we’re seeing time and time again, it’s easy to get dangerously distracted while trying to “catch ‘em all.”
Thankfully this time, one player’s mishap was harmless and actually made for good TV. A Florida meteorologist was in the middle of his weather report when a news anchor, in a zombie-like state, wandered right through the shot while apparently trying to a catch a Pokemon.
It happened at WTSP-TV in Tampa. The Pokemon-playing journalist is Allison Kropff, who posted the humorous clip on Twitter.
Meteorologist Bobby Deskins was able to laugh the incident off and get back to his report.
Set up? We’re not sure. But we wouldn’t be surprised, considering the bizarre situations players have gotten themselves caught up in.
