There are only a few days remaining for you to claim a refund from Sprint or Verizon in the “cramming settlement.”
The companies were ordered to refund a combined $158 million to subscribers over an investigation that they billed million of dollars in unauthorized third-party products and services, according to the Federal Communications Commission.
The practice, which is illegal, is called “cramming” because the charges placed are small and often go unnoticed by consumers.
Subscribers have until December 31st to submit claims for a refund from either Sprint or Verizon.
