An update has been given by Buffalo Police concerning Friday evening's standoff.
Police say they responded to a call of a man barricaded in an upper apartment. South District officers arrived just before 4 p.m. in the 400 block of Willett Street.
According to officials, Buffalo SWAT and the Crisis Management Team were called to the scene a short time later.
The 35-year-old male surrendered to police just before 6:20 p.m. without incident.
He was taken to ECMC for evaluation.
No charges were filed.
