A new company hopes to one day have 200 people working at its plant on the east side of Buffalo.

Viridi Parente specializes in the manufacturing of renewable energy-based engines and power trains for heavy machinery and storage applications.

Viridi hosted a tour of its operations Wednesday inside the former American Axle Facility on East Delavan. The company is the latest to house its operations inside the sprawling complex.

The manufacturing company hopes to eventually shop its products made on East Delavan to people around the globe.
