Recent trauma cases have put hospitals in dire need of O negative blood, according to Unyts.
Western New York's only community blood bank is appealing to the community to restore inventory to normal levels. The organization is asking all O negative donors to come in and donate at one of Unyts' Neighborhood Blood Donation Centers.
Unyts will be open at Eastern Hills Mall and Southgate Plaza on Wednesday July 5th, from 10am-8pm.
