UB announces medical marijuana program

The University at Buffalo is tapping into the medical marijuana field.

According to an article in Business First, UB has announced a new research initiative aimed at furthering potential use of medical marijuana, just days after the launch of New York's medical marijuana program.

The university is teaming up with Citiva, who runs medical marijuana operations in Colorado and Kentucky.

According to the article, UB's Center for Integrated Global Health Sciences will receive $1.65 million in funding.
