U2 is coming to New Era Field in September and giving students at Orchard Park schools an extra day of summer.
Traffic concerns from the concert and student safety have prompted the school to push back he first day of school to Wednesday, September 6.
An increase in local traffic due to the concert is expected to impact school district transportation.
"On the first day of school, transportation is usually delayed because students are still learning where to find their buses and drivers are often becoming familiar with new routes," reads a statemen from the district.
U2's The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 will be at New Era Field on September 5.
