A Buffalo couple, who are wanted on separate criminal warrants, were arrested in Olean during a police drug investigation on School Street.
Andre J. Benefield, 22, who is wanted in Buffalo for a violent felony and Cassandra Y. Cruz, 19, who is wanted in the Town of Amherst, are facing criminal charges for narcotics after police found approximately one ounce of crack cocaine and two grams of heroin in the residence they were occupying.
Both were transported to Erie County where they were turned over to authorities from the Buffalo City Police Department and the Town of Amherst Police Department.
