Two high-profile Sears locations have now closed their doors for good.

The Sears at the the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga shut down on Sunday. The Boulevard Mall location in Amherst closed Monday. Both auto center locations have also gone dark.

The closings are part of a nationwide downsizing that will see the closure of approximately 150 Sears and Kmart stores nationwide this spring as the once mighty retail powerhouse struggles to stay afloat.

The Kmart across from the Walden Galleria closed in December.

Sears stores at the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence, McKinley Mall in Blasdell and the former Summit Park Mall in the town of Niagara remain open.
