Buffalo Police are investigating a dinnertime crash that injured two officers Wednesday.
Those officers are Richard Hy and Bradford Pitts. Hy is known as "@AngryCops" on Vine. He was briefly suspended earlier this year for violating the department's social media policy.
Investigators say the officers tried to stop a car after it nearly hit some children getting off a school bus at Hickory and William. Police say they know who the driver is but that person is still on the run.
Police claim the car continued to drive recklessly.
As officers were following that car, police say another car hit the police cruiser at Fox and Sycamore, causing the patrol car to flip over. Police say the person driving the third car is ok.
The two male officers were taken to the Erie County Medical Center and have been released since.
No charges have been filed.
