Authorities are asking for help finding two men who entered the United States from Canada illegally.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office reports a 16-foot charter vessel picked up two men around 11:30 Tuesday morning at the Queenston, Ontario marina.

Deputies say after being on the water for approximately two hours, the two men ordered the charter boat captain by knifepoint to take them to shore in the U.S.

The men were dropped off just east of Fort Niagara, where they fled on foot. The men are described as being in their mid-20s with French accents.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Niagara County Sheriff's Office at 716-438-3394.
