Two Chautauqua County Fairgoers were injured when a tree limb fell from a tree Friday.
According to Chautauqua County Fair President Dan King, the two that were injured were sitting in the picnic grove on the west end of the midway.
A tree limb fell from one of the trees in that area, and struck the two victims, a male and a female, who were seated at a picnic table.
Both were treated by the Dunkirk Fire Department and W.C.A. Alstar Ambulance on scene and transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital.
King was not aware of their condition as of early Sunday morning.
7 Eyewitness News learned from a family member that one of the victims suffered a severe concussion, and when the family approached the parks and recreation department about the incident they were brushed off.
The family is concerned that this could be a bigger issue and more people could be hurt.
