Two illegal immigrants were arrested in Perry last weekend and are in Department of Homeland Security custody pending their removal from the U.S.

Perry Police called for help from U.S. Border Patrol to help identify two people officers encountered while searching an abandoned car found in the middle of the road.

The two were identified as Eliaquin Abilder Aguilar-Roblero, 22, and Francisco Javier Roblero-Bravo, 20, and Border Patrol records showed they were in the U.S. illegally.

Aguilar-Roblero and Roblero-Bravo were arrested for a potential alcohol-related violation and taken to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station.

Records showed Aguilar-Roblero legally entered the U.S. on a work visa on May 2, 2016 to work at a farm in Waycross, Georgia. His visa expired on July 5, 2016.

Roblero-Bravo told Border Patrol Agents he came into the U.S. illegally in December 2015 by crossing the Rio Grande River.
