Two dogs and multiple cats perished in a fire at a home in Buffalo on Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. at a two-and-a-half story home on Elgas Street. First responders had to rescue a man from a second floor bedroom. He was taken to ECMC.
The blaze caused $90,000 in damage to the building and contents. Two dogs and multiple cats died in the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting three people who lived in the home.
