Two Buffalo-born candidates now vying for State Attorney General job

 A Buffalo attorney and former adviser to Democrats Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo has announced her candidacy for New York attorney general.
    
Leecia Eve serves on the board of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and served in the Cuomo administration in a senior economic development position.
    
Before that the Harvard Law School graduate advised both Clinton and fellow Democrat Joe Biden when they were in the U.S. Senate.
    
In announcing her campaign Monday, Eve joins New York City Public Advocate Letitia James in the Democratic primary race to replace Democrat Eric Schneiderman, who resigned after he was accused of assaulting four women.
    
Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who's running for a third term, endorsed James' campaign Tuesday.
    
New York City attorneys Manny Alicandro and Keith Wofford are seeking the Republican nomination for governor.

Wofford was born and raised in Buffalo and graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
