Two arrested after meth lab found in apartment

Two Westfield residents are facing drug charges after police say they found a meth lab in their apartment.

John J. Buzcek III and Julie A. Warren are charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree.

Village of Westfield Police and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force began investigating the home on South Portage Street after neighbors complained that they smelled chemicals coming from the the apartment.

Police say during their investigation they found items used to manufacture methamphetamine.  They say the two were making meth at the home on South Portage Street, and that police found another working meth lab during their investigation, along with scales and other items used to make meth.

Buzcek and Warren were arraigned in the Village of Westfield Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
