"Twerking" and "bodily grinding" will no longer be allowed at Iroquois High School dances. The ban was listed in a new set of rules for high school dances that was posted on the Iroquois website.

Students have been warned that they will be asked to leave the event if "inappropriate dancing occurs." Twerking" and "bodily grinding" are commonly defined as dances which are sexually provocative.

The new rules also state that only current Iroquois High School students will be allowed to attend the dances. Prior graduates or students from other high schools will not be admitted. Senior Prom is the exception.

All students will also be administered the "Alco-Sensor" by school officials before entering the dance. Adult chaperones will be strategically posted for supervision at dances.
