Visit Buffalo Niagara is trying to entice Canada to come visit the City of Good Neighbors.
VBN is airing its “Unexpected Buffalo” tv and print ads in Southern Ontario and U.S. cities within 300 miles, including Erie, PA, Cleveland and Rochester.
The Commercial shows the sunny side of Buffalo and all the things it has to offer. Things people might not expect Buffalo has.
“Trying to encourage people to come into the destination for overnight visitation, so that they are staying in our hotels. They are going into our restaurants, our attractions,” Patrick Kaler, President and CEO of Visit Buffalo Niagara said.
Kaler said the ad campaign is working. Bringing more than 100,000 visitors to the region last year and producing an economic impact of $105,000,000.
“They see us through a new lens if you will. They like what they see with the new restaurants, the breweries, revitalized waterfront, all the activities they can do all year round,” Kaler said.
