Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is joining a new advisory team for President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump is meeting with top tech leaders on Wednesday who will be joining the President's Strategic and Policy Forum.

Joining Musk on this team will be Uber CEO Travis Kalanick, Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi. Others expected to be at Wednesday's meeting are Facebook's Cheryl Sandberg, Google parent company Alphabet's Eric Schmidt and Larry Page, and Amazon's Jeff Bezos.

This advisory board will "meet with the President frequently to share their specific experience and knowledge as the President implements his economic agenda."

The Forum will be lead by CEO and co-founder of Blackstone, one of the world's largest private equity firms, Stephen Schwarzman.

"America has the most innovate and vibrant companies in the world, and the pioneering CEOs joining this Forum today are at the top of their fields," said Trump. "My Administration is going to work together with the private sector to improve the business climate and make it attractive for firms to create new jobs across the United States from Silicon Valley to the heartland."
