State Police stopped a Toyota Camry westbound on I-90 for a simple traffic violation.
The Trooper’s investigation determined the vehicle was reported stolen to the Town of Amherst Police Department.
The driver of the vehicle, Ralph Gonzalez, 36, of Amherst, was taken into custody.
Gonzalez is charged with:
•Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree; a Class D Felony
•Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree; a Misdemeanor
He was arraigned before the Town of West Seneca Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
