We've all seen it and experienced it... We're at a stop light and a biker pedals right through an intersection without obeying any traffic laws.

That's why a City of Buffalo community member brought the traffic safety concerns to Joe Golombeck, a council member for the North District.

"We need to make sure that everyone is safe, from motorcyclists, bicyclists, to pedestrians to cars," he said.
Motorcyclists Doug Miller, who did not respond to 7 Eyewitness news emails, wrote this letter in part: "I think it IS possible for a bicycle to cause an accident with a motor vehicle. I DO see bicyclists violate traffic laws. Are police issuing them tickets? Do you think that is fair?"

He continues that his intentions are not to get law enforcement to ticket cyclists or have them pay state fees, he is only looking for his voice to be heard.

Miller has been invited to the next council meeting to speak on the issue.
