The whiteout conditions earlier in the day left a lot of snow for road crews to clean up. Crews focused their efforts on the main roads first, and are working to clear side streets next.
Officials especially in the City of Buffalo want to remind drivers to obey alternate parking rules. Commissioner of Public Works Steve Stepniak says it's extremely difficult for plows to get down the street when people are parked on both sides.
